Top 10 things to do in Noosa
  1. Noosa Main Beach is a class spot for surfing. Castaways, Marcus and Sunshine beaches are less populated so you won’t be fighting off too many other surfers.
  2. Stand up paddleboarding is a big thing in Noosa, and the town has an excellent SUP school where you can learn, if this is new to you.
  3. Sea Kayaking is a great way to see dolphins in the bay. You can rent kayaks from several companies. You can also kayak the Noosa Everglades, a subtropical wetland system bursting with rare wildlife and plants. It is one of only two everglades systems in the world (the other is in Florida).
  4. Visit Noosa National Park to see koalas, black cockatoos and explore the coastal walks and trails, plus swim, surf and sunbathe.
  5. The Sunday Farmer’s Market is a must-do. Delicious produce and some of Queensland’s finest coffee. The market opens at 6am, so… what was that saying about the early bird catching the worm?
  6. The Noosa Boathouse has a gorgeous setting and tasty food. With a bar and restaurant, it’s great for sundowner cocktails and seafood specialties.
  7. Head up Hastings Street, Noosa’s vibrant hub, and where your social life begins. It’s buzzing with cafés, bars and restaurants.
  8. Go wine bar hopping. It’s a thing… and Noosa has an emerging wine bar scene well worth experiencing – more than once!
  9. Take your pick of Noosa’s beaches. There’s Main Beach, of course, but also great for perfecting that tan Sunrise Beach, Alexandria Bay and Little Cove Beach.
  10. Noosa breweries and distilleries are popping up all over the place and pulling some fine tap beers.
