NexVentur is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our clients’ growing team in Co. Roscommon.
With a strong presence in both consultancy and project management services, our client supports high-quality Civil Engineering & Commercial Build projects throughout the West & Midlands. With an office base in Co. Roscommon, and 3+ years of work guaranteed in the Midlands region, this is an ideal opportunity for a Civil Engineer looking to grow their career in a dynamic consultancy environment, with a view to progressing into project delivery and project management.

Role and responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of detailed civil engineering and site development drawings
• Support the design of roads, drainage, utilities, and site infrastructure
• Perform technical assessments and contribute to reports and planning documentation
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal design teams
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and assist with project delivery
• Assist in preparing bills of quantities, specifications, and tender packages
• Maintain project documentation and adhere to QA/QC procedures
• Contribute to a positive, proactive team environment and professional development

Qualifications, skills & experience

• A qualification in Civil Engineering, Civil Technician Studies, or related discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a consultancy or design environment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools
• Knowledge of construction detailing, drainage, road design, and site layouts
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A keen interest in progressing towards project management responsibilities
• Full driving licence preferred

Benefits

• €50,000 – €65,000 Salary DOE
