Who you'll be working with

You’ll be joining a major national utilities and infrastructure contractor delivering large-scale
underground utilities, HV cable installation, and major energy infrastructure projects across Victoria.

They are heavily involved in electrical network upgrades and upcoming Battery Energy Storage System
(BESS) projects.

Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver civil, mechanical, and electrical utility projects across Melbourne.
• Support HV cable installation, underground services, and energy-related works.
• Assist with planning labour, plant and materials with site supervisors.
• Liaise with network operators, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Prepare variations, claims, procurement plans and subcontract documentation.
• Develop and manage ITPs/ITCs and ensure compliance with QA and environmental plans.
• Lead safety initiatives including toolbox talks and pre-starts.
• Manage QA documentation, project closeout and defect processes.

Skills and Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar).
• 4+ yrs experience in civil utilities, mechanical works or electrical-related infrastructure.
• Experience with underground utilities or HV cable projects is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and engineering software.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and D&A testing.
• Sponsorship available, must already be living in Australia.
