The Role

A qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our fast growing team. The successful candidate will be looking after the maintenance, services and repairs of plant and company owned vehicles. Within this position you will be required to undertake daily operations including diagnosing, maintenance, major/minor service, and repairs on all plant which consists of Excavators, Skid steers, Trucks, Site Dumpers etc.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Trade Qualified Level 3 certification in your specific diesel automotive field (heavy vehicle)
• Motivated and reliable
• Maintenance, repairs and servicing of various heavy Plant and equipment
• Welding experience required
• Ability to work independently
• Strong focus on safety and quality
• Industry supporting references
• Current Drivers licence – opportunities are available to obtain a HR licence
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude
• Flexibility in terms of work hours due to some sites requiring later services on site
