NexVentur are urgently looking to recruit an Estimator with HVAC experience for a well-established mechanical company in Sydney. As an Estimator with you will be responsible for working within our existing team to source, bid and win mechanical projects in NSW and sometimes interstate.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review tender documents.
• Evaluate cost estimates from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Liaise with suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Daily use of estimating software – ContractMaster.
• Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
• Where required, carry out duct, pipe, and lagging takeoffs using LiveCount so we have an internal measure and cost.
• Complete schedules and tender supporting documents as required for conforming bids.
• Work with Estimating team to present completed cost estimates to management in a timely manner in and in an organized, thorough format.
• Work closely with the Estimating Team to ensure accurate pricing and client satisfaction.
• Develop, maintain and grow strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, clients and colleagues.
• Manage your time to work to important deadlines.

Expected hours

This is a full-time position and you will be required work 7.6 hours between the hours of 08:30 and 17:30 Monday to Friday. Your remuneration is for all of the hours you are required. You will not be expected to work every Saturday. However, when the work is on, you would be required to make a genuine commitment to getting the job over the line.
