Our client is a recognized multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy providing services and solutions to the development, property and urban infrastructure sectors across SA, VIC and QLD.

Role and responsibilities
- Ensure that tasks undertaken comply with safe working practices and adhere to the requirements of WHS policies
- Report any WHS issues experienced/witnessed to HR Coordinator and familiarity with and administering the requirements of the WHS Manual
- Undertake the investigation of distressed and damaged building structures to determine cause of damage (or failure) and document appropriate rectification
- Ensure forensic site investigations are completed to a detail required by the client and Department Manager, ensure forensic reports are written in clear and unambiguous language and to a level of detail commensurate with the fees and ensure all reports are peer reviewed prior to release to the client
- Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with existing and new clients to ensure customer loyalty.
- Liaise effectively with home and building owners, loss adjusters, insurance companies, legal firms, builders, architects, building designers, subcontractors, consultants, coworkers and other internal and external client
- Ensure no work or variations are commenced without written confirmation from the client and ensure that required targets regarding monthly work output are met or exceeded
- Respond, in a timely manner, to all internal requests for information or assistance (including other branches) Ensure that all administration matters in relation to your position are attended to in a timely, efficient and expedient manner.
- Ensure that all tasks undertaken and all jobs produced are consistent with the Quality standards and ensuring company guidelines, systems and methodologies are strictly followed.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering (specialising in structural engineering)
- Chartered Membership of Engineers Australia (MIEAust CPEng) (Desired) • Member of the National Professional Engineer Register (NPER) (Desired)
- Experience in the design or residential, commercial and industrial projects with construction value of up to $20 million FMG Engineering Quality Management System (Desired)
- Knowledge and experience in a wide range of structural design programs (Desired)
- Extensive experience in the investigation and analysis of distressed residential and commercial structures (Desired)
- Must be flexible to work on a wide variety of situations, analytical skills, conceptual thinking, willingness to lead, technical expertise with excellent interpersonal skills is essential.
Benefits
- Forensic Engineer: $100k to $130k
- Senior Forensic Engineer: $130k to $150k
- Principal Forensic Engineer: $160k to $230k
