Role and Responsibilities

• Carrying out safety paperwork
• Conducting site inspections
• Producing risk assessments
• Accident and incident recording
• Carrying out site safety inductions
• Identifying training requirements
• Planning, implementing and reviewing Health & Safety systems
• Updating and maintaining H&S procedures and Safety Statements
• Creating risk assessments and method statements
• Managing accident investigations and corrective actions
• Providing technical support on legislation and H&S systems
• Delivering induction, refresher and manual handling training
• Conducting safety audits with management
• Ensuring safety equipment calibration and inspections
• Complying with ISO Management System requirements
• Supporting senior management with tender requirements

Skills and Requirements

• Health & Safety qualification essential
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Reliability and punctuality
• Strong communication skills
• Computer literacy
