Role and responsibilities

• Provide site teams and subcontractors with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) guidance
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and SWMS reviews
• Support site engineers and supervisors in implementing safe systems of work
• Monitor site practices to ensure they meet Australian legislation and company standards
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and support continuous improvement
• Advise project teams on quality compliance and environmental obligations
• Contribute to HSEQ planning, training, and strategy across multiple sites

Skills & experience

• 5+ years of HSEQ experience in the construction or civil infrastructure sector
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (essential)
• Proven ability to interpret and apply WHS, Environmental and Quality regulations
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Auditing experience across safety, quality and environment
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple project sites
