NexVentur is urgently looking to recruit motivated Lining Technicians to join a client of ours based in Australia who have a growing Geosynthetics Division, working on major infrastructure and environmental projects across Australia.

Role and responsibilities

• Liner Installation – Install a variety of geosynthetic liners (e.g. HDPE, LLDPE, GCL) on civil, mining, and environmental projects
• Site Preparation – Assist with ground preparation, material handling, welding, and QA checks
• Team Collaboration – Work closely with Supervisors and Project Managers to meet site goals and deadlines
• Welding & Seaming – Use specialised equipment for plastic welding and ensure joints meet safety and quality standards
• Health & Safety – Follow all site safety protocols and contribute to a strong safety-first culture
• Mobility – Work across various sites in the Eastern states – flexibility and reliability are key

Skills & experience

• Previous experience as a Lining Technician or Labourer in geosynthetics, civil, or construction
• Familiarity with liner materials and welding equipment (preferred)
• Physically fit, reliable, and willing to work in outdoor/remote environment
• Team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to safet
• Open to travel and project-based work
