Marketing Specialist – Melbourne

Our client is a specialist in construction with three business areas: Blue Collar Recruitment, White Collar Recruitment and Construction plant and machinery hire. They have built up a reputation for exceptional service and a substantial client base across the group. They are now looking to take the business to the next level and hiring a Marketing Specialist based in Melbourne with 3+ years experience marketing to both B2B and B2C audiences. This is a great opportunity for a passionate marketer to on their skills.

Role and responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the companies’ social media platforms, creating engaging content within the brand guidelines that grows brand awareness and generates new marketing qualified candidate/client leads
  • Manage the social media advertising, creating results-driven campaigns
  • Champion the brand – ensure that all marketing material adheres to brands’ guidelines
  • Manage and update content on the company websites (WordPress)
  • Write blogs – write SEO driven blogs on relevant industry news and commonly searched topics in the recruitment space
  • Create content for and design promotional material (brochures, booklets, banners etc) for digital and/or print
  • Track analytics across the platforms and optimise for improved performance
  • Organise, promote and attend events
  • Compile marketing reports
  • Administer marketing costs within budget

Skills and requirements

  • Third-level marketing degree/diploma or similar
  • 3+ years’ relevant experience in a similar marketing role
  • Google Ads – ability to manage and create goal-driven campaigns
  • Social Media Advertising – proven experience delivering results on Facebook Campaign Manager and Linked In Campaign Manager
  • High level of proficiency creating video and static content on Canva (or similar)
  • Experience managing content on WordPress sites
  • Experience with Mailchimp creating email campaigns and automations to build, engage and retain audiences
  • GA4 & Google Search Console
  • Ability to think innovatively to reach new audiences and drive business objectives
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of both B2B and B2C marketing
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well in a team
