Join a leading force in M&E Contracting – Mechanical Foreman/Supervisor opportunity. NexVentur is proud to partner with one of the West of Ireland’s top M&E contractors to recruit a skilled Mechanical Foreman/Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-impact mechanical projects across the Industrial and Commercial sectors. Based in Co. Galway, you’ll be at the forefront of driving safe, efficient, and timely execution of mechanical works—bringing leadership, precision, and innovation to every site.

Role and responsibilities

• Supervise daily mechanical site operations.
• Lead, mentor, and co-ordinate mechanical teams onsite (plumbers, pipe fitters, sub‑contractors), ensuring clear communication and accountability.
• Monitor site safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Plan, schedule, and allocate resources efficiently to meet project milestones.
• Conduct inspections, resolve technical issues, and ensure materials and workmanship meet project requirements.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date site documentation and reports for management.
• Collaborate with project managers, BIM co-ordinators, and the off-site prefabrication team to ensure smooth integration and delivery.

Qualifications, skills & experience

• Qualified plumber or pipe-fitter with experience in industrial and/or commercial mechanical environments.
• Previous supervisory experience on-site within the construction, or mechanical sectors.
• Knowledge of Irish safety, environmental, and construction regulations; familiarity with ISO standards is a plus.
• Good communication and organisation skills.
• Skilled in planning, prioritising, and problem-solving under tight deadlines.
• Comfortable collaborating with BIM teams and open to integrating off-site prefabricated components.
• Full driving licence and travel flexibility within the West of Ireland.
