Role and responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality mental health care in inpatient and/or community settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support recovery-focused care
• Contribute to workforce development and mentor junior staff (for senior roles)
• Engage with regional communities to promote mental health awareness and support
• Maintain clinical excellence and uphold professional standards in all aspects of care

Skills & experience

Essential:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Mental Health Nursing experience (inpatient or community)
• Current practicing certificate in Mental Health (or Postgraduate qualification)
• Full working rights in Australia — Sponsorship available
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (or intention to obtain one)

Desirable:

• 3+ years post-registration experience (for Clinical Nurse level)
• Experience mentoring junior staff
• Previous regional or rural health experience
