We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with an interest in the disability sector to join a non-government organization based in Bathurst NSW that provides services to people with a disability in the community.

This position is open to both part-time and full-time options. Recent and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Role and Responsibilities

• Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will be required to provide assessment, intervention and review of outcomes in line with individual clients’ NDIS funding.
• This opportunity will allow you to work within both paediatric and adult settings.
• Providing a range of supports around fine and gross motor activities, sensory needs, seating and positioning, home modifications, activities of daily living and carer education.
• This role will also require you to provide support and training to staff in relevant areas.

Skills and Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Experience supporting children and adults using an evidence-based approach and a desire to develop your skills.
• Understanding of NDIS plans and funding models to suitably plan assessments and interventions.
• High quality reporting and communication skills.
• Current driver’s license.
• Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
