Due to continued growth and expansion, our utilities client requires an experienced Procurement Manager based out of their offices in Castlebar.

Duties and responsibilities

• Driving lowest costs and greatest value for the organisation including negotiation of supplier agreements, sourcing innovation and supplier relationship management.
• Point of contact and resolution for all issues relating to preferred suppliers.
• Anticipating, analysing and monitoring market and business needs.
• Design and deliver buying strategy reports, including recommendations based on commercial and technical factors.
• Respond to queries from site, estimating, finance and commercial departments.
• Maintain accurate data

Skills and Experience

• Experience in a similar role within the construction industry is required in the Civils / Utilities sector.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proven experience at delivering strong business results including through negotiated agreements.
• tenders and quotations experience, maximising opportunity.

Benefits

• Salary: €50,000 – €60,000
