Calling all Project Managers! Our client is a multi-functional civil construction company that has gained an outstanding reputation in the water utility industry. They are looking to hire an experienced and motivated Project Manager for their Greater Sydney operations. With over twenty-five years’ experience they have delivered more than 1,000 successful projects to many satisfied clients around Australia. They have offices in Sydney, NSW and QLD with more than 150 employees.

Role and responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope, roles and responsibilities
• Outline budgets based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget
• Ensure all work is completed in line with the company’s quality management system
• Manage the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring works are delivered to their satisfaction
• Management of sub-contractors, including performance monitoring and financial management
• Drafting and submitting progress claims and invoices
• Undertake frequent site inspections and audits to assess compliance to HSEQ policies and procedures

Skills & Experience

• Engineering degree
• 5-10 years’ experience with a minimum 3 years in Australia
• Minimum 2 years within the water industry.
• Commercial and contractual exposure preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills essential.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

Benefits
