Role and responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients, including vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamics
• Prepare patients for procedures, including sedation and contrast administration
• Assist with angiograms, stenting, pacemaker insertions, and other cardiac interventions
• Operate and maintain awareness of fluoroscopy and imaging equipment safety
• Apply aseptic techniques and adhere to strict infection control protocols
• Handle specialized equipment including catheters, guidewires, and stents
• Administer medications safely and respond to emergencies using ACLS protocols

Skills & experience

Essential:

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 12 months’ recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab
• Current Police Check and full Australian working rights (Sponsorship not available)
• Adaptability, strong clinical skills, and a collaborative approach
• Willingness to travel and commit to 4–12 week contracts

Desirable:

• Experience working within Australia
• Familiarity with ieMR (integrated electronic medical records)
