Risk Manager – Dublin - 8210

Location: Dublin
Contract: Full-Time

Who you'll be working for

Join a leading infrastructure delivery organisation driving high-profile aviation and civil projects across Ireland. This is a strategic role where you will lead the development and implementation
of risk management practices across complex programmes, ensuring robust risk frameworks and continuous improvement across multidisciplinary teams. The role offers exposure to large-scale
projects and a chance to shape risk culture at programme level.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the implementation of risk management strategies across Infrastructure programmes
  • Develop consistent risk tools, techniques, and processes aligned with policies and industry best practice
  • Support and manage a team of Risk Leads, ensuring day-to-day risk management activities are delivered to standard
  • Maintain risk registers and corporate risk management systems, ensuring accurate reporting
  • Facilitate risk workshops, Quantified Risk Assessments (QRA), and mitigation planning
  • Report programme-wide risk performance, KPIs, and escalate key risks as needed
  • Drive continuous improvement of risk management processes and integration within Programme Controls
  • Influence and promote a positive safety and risk culture across all levels of the
    organisation

Skills and Requirements

  • Third-level qualification in a related discipline (Engineering, Project Management, or similar)
  • 15+ years’ experience in risk management within large-scale infrastructure programmes, ideally aviation
  • Proven experience developing and implementing risk management strategies, frameworks, and mitigation processes
  • Knowledge of EU and Irish legislation, construction procurement processes, and project governance
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, including coaching and influencing multidisciplinary teams
  • Methodical, analytical, and detail-focused approach with advanced risk analysis capabilities (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations, risk profiling)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong administrative and reporting skills with experience in database and record management
