Schedule Lead – Dublin - 8216

Location: Dublin
Contract: Full-Time

Who you'll be working for

You’ll be joining a leading infrastructure delivery organisation managing high-profile aviation and civil projects across Ireland. This role is key to programme success, providing accurate and timely scheduling information across projects and influencing scheduling practices, contractor engagement, and programme planning culture. You will lead a team of schedulers, helping to deliver new projects and track live programme performance.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of schedulers to deliver, analyse, validate, and report on project schedules
  • Facilitate cross-project scheduling meetings with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
  • Develop integrated master schedules for projects and programmes, including resource and cost loading
  • Work with Project Engineers and pre-construction teams to plan future projects and staffing
  • Analyse schedule deviations and delays, propose corrective actions, and report to programme leadership
  • Interface with Cost & Risk Management teams to improve forecasting and risk identification
  • Develop and implement Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS)
  • Support the delivery of programme-level scheduling, reporting, and ad-hoc data analysis requests
  • Drive a positive scheduling culture, ensuring your team is engaged and invested in performance improvement
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and respond promptly to scheduling queries

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent technical discipline
  •  12+ years’ experience in scheduling within construction or infrastructure programmes, 3+ years in aviation/transport sectors
  • Proven experience building critical path schedules, leading workshops, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong knowledge of large capital programmes, pre-construction programming, and fast-track design-build processes
  • Familiarity with Last Planner, Lean methodologies, and standard industry practices for scheduling and construction contracts
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 (essential)
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
  • Ability to balance people management with process and technical oversight
  • Membership in a relevant professional organisation is desirable
