Are you a Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager with 2+ years’ experience in the water industry? We have an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and motivated team in Queensland. Our client is a multi-functional civil construction company that has gained an outstanding reputation in the water utility industry. With over twenty-five years’ experience they have delivered more than 1,000 successful projects to many satisfied clients around Australia. They have offices in Sydney, NSW and QLD with more than 150 employees.

Role and responsibilities

• Working with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervision and other project support to manage diverse Civil/ Utilities projects
• Managing and monitoring the completion of the project to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved safely.
• Show strong leadership qualities, empowering their team and leading by example
• Manage QA documentation processes / manuals for submission
• Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions

Skills & Experience

Engineering degree

4-10 years’ experience with a minimum 3 years in Australia

Minimum 2 years within the water industry.

Commercial and contractual exposure preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

Benefits
