Our client has experienced continued growth, new contracts and extensions and cosequently has an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced Senior Project Planner. You will join their experienced teams working on Civil projects nationwide and will be based at the regional office in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for career driven individuals to grow and develop within one of Ireland’s fastest growing engineering companies.

Role and Responsibilities

• Identify the sequencing of tasks, interdependencies, constraints and resource requirements on various projects.
• Compilation of the tasks into the project schedule using MS Project.
• Estimating durations for tasks. Proactively monitoring the progress on a weekly basis.
• Work in an organised system to deliver proposals within stringent timelines.
• Assist in program planning, analysis, and updates.
• Project Planning using PowerProject.
• Development of the Project Controls Systems specific to the Project.
• Monthly Project Reporting to Senior Management.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in the field of construction planning in Civils contracting environment is advantageous.
• Experience working in a similar Planning role is essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team and achieve tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
