Role and responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of road construction and civil engineering works on site.
• Carry out setting out and site surveying using the latest instruments.
• Interpret and implement design drawings and technical plans.
• Monitor site works to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates to management.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Foremen, and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
• Ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed on site at all times.
• Maintain detailed site records and daily reports.
• Assist with materials ordering, tracking, and reporting.

Qualifications, skills & experience

• 2+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer in Civils, Roads, Groundworks, or Utilities.
• A relevant Engineering or Construction Management degree is essential.
• Proficient in site surveying and setting out (GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid IT proficiency (MS Office, AutoCAD, etc.).
• A full clean driving licence is required.
• Proven understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
