NexVentur is seeking a Site Engineer to work on a major water project on behalf of Ireland’s leading water contractor. The project is located in Co Offaly. This is a full time position with a series of planned works across the next 5 years and offering plenty of opportunity to advance within the company.

Role and responsibilities

• Setting out the site in accordance with site drawings and specifications
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
• Accurately record site progress in the diary
• Provide technical and structural experience
• Comply with strict safety regulations
• Conduct Toolbox Talks
• Report to the Project Manager

Skills and Experience

• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role in the UK or Ireland.
• Setting out experience.
• Detailed knowledge of Irish Water specification & details
• Third level qualification in Engineering – Construction/Civil
• Highly organised and motivated
• Excellent IT skills with good working knowledge of AutoCAD (or similar) & MS Office
• Full driving license

Benefits

• Salary: €70,000 – €85,000 DOE
