NexVentur is excited to present an opportunity to join our client’s team as a Site Engineer for Residential/Commercial Construction projects in the South Midlands. Our client is on the verge of commencing two housing projects in Counties Laois and Kilkenny, and a commercial Build project is in Co. Tipperary. 2+ years’ work guaranteed in this region.

Great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of a construction build. You’ll be working on 3 active projects, all within an hour of each other. Ideal for someone looking to build well-rounded site experience.

Role and responsibilities

• Setting out, levelling and surveying a construction site
• Working with site plans, drawings and building information models
• Mapping structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and markers
• Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate.
• Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards.
• Enforce Health and Safety regulations on-site.

Qualifications, skills & experience

• Engineering/Construction Management third level qualification or similar.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer.
• Experience in site surveying and setting out.
• Ability to read and interpret design plans.
• Full driving licence.
• Excellent IT and communication skills, and ability to work as a team.
