NexVentur has multiple vacancies for Site Engineers and Project Engineers for a major tram and infrastructure upgrade based in Adelaide. The roles suit either Adelaide-based candidates or those interested in FIFO from any major city in Australia. Positions Available

1. Site Engineers – 3 Full-Time Roles
We’re hiring three engineers across multiple work fronts. If you have experience in any of the following areas, we want to hear from you:

• Construction QA – ITPs, checklists, work lots, and quality records
• Services coordination – electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic
• Steel structures and cranage
• Reading and interpreting complex construction drawings

2. Project Engineer – Short-Term Contract (~6 Weeks)
This role is ideal for someone with:

• Strong background in steel structures and MEP (mechanical/electrical/plumbing)
• Ability to step in and support during a busy delivery phase
• Availability to start immediately

Role and responsibilities

• Oversee site-based packages across structures, rail, road, or services
• Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams
• Implement and manage QA systems and construction documentation
• Track progress and assist with planning, procurement, and delivery
• Provide technical guidance and ensure work is delivered to spec and on time

Skills & experience

• 2+ years’ site-based civil experience (structures/rail/services ideal)
• Relevant engineering degree
• Excellent documentation and drawing interpretation skills
• Experience with QA processes (ITPs, work lots)
• White Card and right to work in Australia
• MEP or steel experience highly regarded
• WHV holders welcome – project qualifies for regional visa days
