Who you'll be working with

NexVentur is recruiting on behalf of leading civil construction and infrastructure companies in Perth. Our clients deliver major projects across roads, drainage, water and sewer pipelines, bridges, and bulk earthworks. Role and Responsibilities

Site Engineer:

• Supervise on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications
• Liaise with contractors, clients, and project teams to resolve technical issues
• Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards on site
• Monitor site progress, prepare reports, and support project documentation

Project Engineer:

• Support project execution with cost-effective engineering solutions and methodologies
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and teams to resolve technical, commercial, and scheduling issues
• Prepare variations, claims, and subcontract agreements
• Develop and monitor ITPs/ITCs, quality plans, and ensure compliance
• Participate in procurement planning, resource allocation, and project closeout activities

Project Manager:

• Lead project delivery ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are achieved
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships, resolving commercial and contractual matters
• Oversee project teams, providing guidance to Site and Project Engineers
• Review project plans, risk registers, and CEMP to ensure compliance
• Ensure overall safety, quality, and environmental standards across the project

Skills and Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Site or Project Engineering within civil construction
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of civil construction methods, project management, and relevant compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project)
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Benefits

Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year (based on experience)
Contract: Full-time
