How we helped

Our first task was to meet with Joanne and understand he career aspirations and the type of position she had in mind. We were able to begin the visa application process immediately and walked Joanne through the various stages, offering guidance as required. As part of this process, we were then able to secure her tax file number and set up a bank account.

 We worked closely with our healthcare recruitment channels right across the state of Victoria and identified a number of suitable roles. After Joanne was shortlisted for interview and successful in her application, we set about helping her open bank accounts and provided a range of financial services. We also put her in touch with our extensive network across the city and made introductions to various social clubs like a local GAA club.

The end result

Joanne has now completed the move to Melbourne and is living in a studio apartment just minutes from the city centre. She began working just a week after she arrived in her specialist field.  From helping her apply for a working visa to finding the ideal job and so much more, Joanne is very happy to have worked with Nex Ventur on her big move down under.
